Personally I am not a big fan of the fog level in the game, however it is pretty easy to change.
In the media folder->Classes->daytimes there are settings for multiple times of days and one of the options inside the XML is Fog Density.
Here you can see density of “0.010”, “0 .005” and “0.000”

I know this is a fairly mod friendly game, however if discussing modifications to the games internal files aside from trucks/maps on the official forum is not ok, feel free to delete.
